Job Duties and Responsibilities
Position: CFD Engineer
Job Location: Pune
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical/Automobile engineering or equivalent
Minimum years of experience
2-3 years of relevant experience in CFD (Flow analysis, thermal analysis, conjugate analysis, multiphase analysis)
Nature of experience
Automotive/Electric Vehicle Domain
Skills Required:
- Strong CAE/CFD fundamentals
- Good knowledge of one of the CFD softwares like StarCCM+, Fluent or equivalent.
- Knowledge of any optimization tools like Optimate, Design manager, HEEDS will be added advantage.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Good Team Player, Positive Attitude and Disciplined
- Experience of working in automotive sector. Experience of Engine and EV products simulations will be of added advantage.
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Create CFD models as per standard guidelines
- Perform Flow analysis, thermal analysis, conjugate analysis, multiphase analysis
- Perform correlation analysis with field/experimental data
- Evaluate the performance vs. targets. Correlate analysis results with experiment test data
- Create good quality reports that can be easily interpreted
- Use engineering techniques, hand calculations, etc.
- Participate in technical reviews.
- Take ownership for quality work and timely defect free deliveries.
- Strive for continuous improvements
