Job Description

Job Skill set required:

• Review the current Mechanical architecture & design considering the current technologies in terms of component, materials & process, propose ideations to reduce BoM cost by redesign & optimization.
• Ability to redesign the mechanical components & assembly to reduce the product cost without impact to product performance.
• Should be able to drive and participate in Cost reduction Idea generation for existing products & perform or support feasibility review of new ideas assigned.
• Essential deep knowledge of Mechanical component design, material selection (engineering plastics & metals), component design (plastic, machined, cast and sheet metal).
• Have good understanding on different manufacturing processes like plastic injection molding, metal parts machining, casting, sheet metal process.
• Strong hands on experience of Mechanical assembly design (Package different components and sub-assly to form a product, meeting functional & customer requirements).
• Experience required is 5 + Years. Job Location: Bangalore, Whitefield
