Job description

Perform a full lifecycle product development (Design, test prototypes, and implement).
Design systems and components that meet requirements Work with teams and engineers from other disciplines, to understand several requirements in developing the design.
Develop Project Plan, Risk Management and other requirements observing Department specific process Perform product verification to evaluate the products overall performance and safety.
Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions.
Prepare product reports and documentation.
Work with global Product Optimization engineering (POE) teams to maintain understanding on team R&D and existing product development road maps and resources.
Work with teams during all phases of the toll-gate process

8+ years of the overall experience.
First Class Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the design of products such as laboratory, home appliances, temperature, and pressure control equipment.
Experience with core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
Experience with technical risk assessment and mitigation plan development. Experience with global engineering teams and remote engineering.
Familiarity with engineering design, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up Analysis, DFM & DFS principles.
Familiarity with multiple engineering materials ( Plastics and Metals) and the manufacturing processes employed in making products using these materials.
Creativity such as time and resource planning. Identify risks, recommend options that are supported by a clear fact set and analysis.
Prioritization abilities and take ownership of issues and tasks.
Knowledge in project management in theory and practice, manage Scope, Schedule, cost & Quality requirements.
Oversee end-to-end of the project, engaging cross functions, ensuring, execution of timelines, and change management to provide qualitative results.
Knowledge of Safety regulatory requirements of laboratory equipment.
