DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Operates machines and production equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to quality and productivity requirements within a manufacturing environment under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
- Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
- Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
- Adhere to HSE standards, policies, and procedures while using appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Support team safety, correct hazards within control, and promote a safe work environment.
- Recognize and mitigate environmental impacts.
- Participate in HSE training.
Quality:
- Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
- Identify and raise quality issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
- Perform quality inspections and manage non-conforming materials.
Delivery:
- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture products according to specifications.
- Achieve production goals and maintain cycle times as defined by engineering standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, perform routine housekeeping, and conduct planned machine maintenance.
- Adapt to various tasks as required to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support teams to identify and address equipment repairs.
Teamwork:
- Communicate effectively within the team and with support staff.
- Engage in training and personal development aligned with business needs.
- Actively participate in improving quality, safety, processes, material flow, and team development.

Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
- Welding process certification is a plus.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Knowledge:
- Operate machines and production equipment safely and effectively.
- Work in rotational shifts:
- A Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- B Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- C Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies such as:
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- 5S methodology
- FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Control Plans
- Line Balancing
