DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Operates machines and production equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to quality and productivity requirements within a manufacturing environment under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):

  • Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
  • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
  • Adhere to HSE standards, policies, and procedures while using appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Support team safety, correct hazards within control, and promote a safe work environment.
  • Recognize and mitigate environmental impacts.
  • Participate in HSE training.

Quality:

  • Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
  • Identify and raise quality issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
  • Perform quality inspections and manage non-conforming materials.

Delivery:

  • Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture products according to specifications.
  • Achieve production goals and maintain cycle times as defined by engineering standards.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, perform routine housekeeping, and conduct planned machine maintenance.
  • Adapt to various tasks as required to meet production targets.
  • Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support teams to identify and address equipment repairs.

Teamwork:

  • Communicate effectively within the team and with support staff.
  • Engage in training and personal development aligned with business needs.
  • Actively participate in improving quality, safety, processes, material flow, and team development.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
  • Welding process certification is a plus.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Operate machines and production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Work in rotational shifts:
  • A Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • B Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • C Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies such as:
  • OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
  • 5S methodology
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • Control Plans
  • Line Balancing
