Position: Production Associate – Level II

Job Summary:
As a Production Associate – Level II, you will ensure that the products received or produced meet the company’s technical specifications. You will work under moderate supervision, verifying product quality through measurement techniques, segregating non-conforming products, and documenting any deviations. Additionally, you will be involved in training other team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Quality Verification: Ensure final products meet technical specifications by inspecting them on the production line.
  • Defect Identification: Compare physical characteristics of components, materials, and equipment to identify defects.
  • Non-conforming Product Segregation: Use both basic and advanced measurement techniques and equipment to segregate products that do not meet specifications.
  • Documentation: Record products that fail to meet technical standards using specified systems.
  • Training: Train team members in the use of measurement equipment, segregation processes, and documentation.
  • Adherence to Standards: Follow and uphold the company’s quality norms and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Some relevant work experience and intermediate-level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Expertise in metrology equipment and measurement techniques.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
  • Experience in global supplier management.
