Position – BIM Modeller-MEP for COWI Building

Location – Chennai, Tamil Nadu

As BIM Modeller you will join our global team of experts and will report to Head of Section, MEP, Buildings.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

Be responsible for creating and updating work tasks and projects in Building Information Modelling with Revit and updating model contents to support on-going designs.
Assist with coordination of models provided by Architects, Design Engineers, MEP and other disciplines involved in project team
Be involved in handling and solving clash detections using Revit Structure & MEP
Assist both internal and external team members in the development of tender documents and as-built document creation and maintenance
Work side by side with in-house teams and external teams to complete detail designs inclusive of BIM deliveries

Hold have B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical engineering with 2-4 yrs. of experience
Have strong knowledge of Building Information Model preparation in Revit Structural/ MEP and Navisworks
Be able to work as independent BIM Modeller for Mechanical & Electrical system & services, with potential to grow into Discipline lead of MEP BIM modelling
Have experience in handling multiple BIM assignments on different projects simultaneously or in handling single BIM assignments on a larger project
Have interest or experience in Visual programming and Dynamo
Have proven experience with BIM Standards Implementation and Upgrades along with this having expertise in creating BIM Content for Mechanical and/or Electrical systems & elements
Be able to participate in document quantity take-off reports & perform quality checks at each stage of submission
