Job description

  • Act as a role model in the team in terms of values, culture, and behavior and set standards within the same
  • Engage with key stakeholders within COWI’s Business Line International network to grow the pipeline of work for the team. The stakeholders include Line Managers, Project Managers, Delivery Managers and Specialists
  • Develop and spar with individual staff members on their professional and personal development
  • Engage in technical discussions on projects, when required
  • Handle resource allocation between projects, by setting the right project teams – both for the projects, and the personal development of the team members
  • Handle all organizational and staff related matters for the team, including recruitment
  • In close collaboration with key stakeholders, develop the strategy for the competence development and growth of the team, tying into COWI’s overall strategic ambitions.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Master’s degree preferable
  • Have more than 15 years of industry experience, providing quality reviews in the area of specialty, leading and delivering Tenders, feasibility/ concept studies, and detailed design of MEP systems in the metro, rail, and underground projects
  • Have knowledge of International Codes related to MEP systems – IEC, BS, CIBSE, NFPA Standards
  • Demonstrate previous experience of working with multi-cultural and multi-national teams. Working experience within Scandinavian and/or UK markets would be considered a plus
  • Demonstrate impeccable English communication skills – verbally and in writing
  • Be self-driven and intrinsically motivated to make a positive difference for the team, COWI and yourself
  • Maneuver and collaborate seamlessly across geographical and cultural boundaries, within and outside the department
  • Should have experience in the people management and the ability to influence, develop, and motivate people.
