Key Responsibilities

Description of duties & activities

  1. Establishing Compressor/ HVAC Product & Process Quality System During Manufacturing :
    • Receiving Inspection of Critical Components against Specification Auditing of critical process control parameters & timely escalation of deviation cases for CAPA Define quality screening parameters/test methods & sampling plan at appropriate production stages Monitor fallout at each screening station- initiate improvement actions to control the same Prepare & Share quality KPI reports for MIS
  2. Product Performance & Reliability Testing
    • Prepare, and execute product performance & reliability test plan Ensure compliance to specification Initiate CAPA in case of deviation  
  3. People Management:
    • Led, supported & managed a team of technicians Train people with new/additional skill sets
  4. Support New Product Release
    • Review & revise quality checkpoints/test methods & equipment Coordinate to Prepare & execute Qualification plan Gatekeeper for all new product release projects.
  5. Product / Process Certification (UL/CCC/ISI)
    • Ensure product compliance with requirements  
    • Inclusion of new product in certification list

Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Production Engineering,.
  • Experience Working in Quality / Mfg functions preferably in the HVAC industry

Requirements and Attributes:

  • Knowledge of Quality System Management like ISO9001  
  • Knowledge of measurement/engineering drawing interpretation
  • Knowledge of compressor / HVAC product testing methods Is Preferred
  • Knowledge of various quality tools / FMEA / Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Good in planning & prioritizing activities
  • Interpersonal Relations, Teamwork, and Communications
