Job decription

• To improve shop floor work culture, housekeeping during the shifts.
• To ensure that safe working conditions in the entire shop through periodic check on working of safety controls. Also to ensure that applicable PPE is being used by all employees. Create awareness among all employees towards safety culture.
• To execute the production plan as per planning.
• To plan the availability of equipment & manpower to achieve the targeted production.
• To verify that the equipment’s condition is OK & applied poke-yoke on m/c’s are effective.
• To monitor & analyze the reason for rejection/wastage/rework & to initiate corrective action for the same.
• To train & educate the blue collars from time to time.
• To train, educate the workmen & keep records when they deputed for a new job or when any new person is deputed on a job.
• To work towards achievement in targeted manpower as per sanctioned.
• To get sleeve inspection done on shift basis & maintain records.
• To verify & ensure the right condition of butyl sleeves during the shifts.
• To ensure production output is being entered in SAP on a daily basis.
• To ensure during the shift, requirements of QMS & any specific requirements of the customer are followed & met by workmen’s.
• To ensure that work instruction, control plan & inspection standards are prominently displayed at the workstation.
• To check & record whether workmen’s in his shift are following work instruction & control plan as per requirements.
• To meet the target of reduction of WIP at all stages & productivity target as defined & set by superior.
• To carry on additional jobs as & when assigned by the superiors.
• Daily verification & recording of parameters as defined in the relevant process check sheet.
• Machines & light to be kept off when there is no activity.
• To make arrangement for separately follow up & identification of lot during the initial control.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of work experience in Automotive manufacturing company (Preferable rubber component).
• Language – Fluent in Hindi & English writing/ speaking skill
