Job description

  • Assembles and inspects products and/or parts in accordance with instructions. As required, uses hand or power tools, may use soldering irons and/or packaging equipment usually in mechanical assembly.

Job description

  • A Technician, RF shall provide a multiple variety of technical support tasks using basic engineering/electronics/mechanical principles and techniques in order to solve mildly complex problems. A Technician, RF shall assist in the RF tuning, development, construction and testing of, but not limited to, base station antennas and processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work under minimal supervision and guidance of engineering staff, responsible for the operation of engineering test equipment in a laboratory setting.
  • Reports model testing status and results to departmental Supervisor/Manager and Engineers as appropriate.
  • Assist in the documentation of manufacturing methods and procedures. Material handling e.g. shipping and receiving. Assists in model fabrication, assembly, theoretical tuning, and design development. Modify antenna prototypes, parts, and assemblies correct functional deviations.
  • Operate fabricating equipment including but not limited to PCB milling machine, hand soldering tools, drill press, and related hand tools.
  • Assists in the maintenance of far field, near field and Lab equipment.
  • Performs routine RF measurements of antenna design parameters.
  • Operate Test equipment including but not limited to power meters, network analyzers, PIM analyzers, and, antenna range software, (far field and near field).
  • Troubleshoot and repair problems in completed assemblies, modify if necessary. Will troubleshoot an electronic problem area to determine cause and remedy problems. Able to document work instructions and simple test reports
  • A Technician, RF should be knowledgeable in the use of a PC, HP Analyzers, Test Range measurement hard ware (e.g. positioner, winch), and company vehicles. Software applications used in antenna design and engineering and all types of test equipment commonly used in RF design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.

Qualification & Skills

  • Diploma with preferably 5 years of related experience or BE with preferably 3 years of related expreince.
  • Must Have soldering skills, being able to find out between a good and bad solder joints
  • Must have assembly experience.

Job description

  • Supervises, day to day activities of Facilities Team to provide 24×7 Utility / Facility functions at ATGI.
  • Manages resources to ensure spares, consumables and tools are available to maintain all plant and utilities at ATGI 247. Responsible for upkeep of all Utilities, Building Maintenance, House Keeping, Garden Maintenance Ensure that all components of the facility building, grounds, utilities, etc. are maintained in a clean, controlled, hygienic condition. That they are always fit for purpose and in an acceptable and presentable condition. Implement and ensure it is followed, maintenance schedule and practices and procedures, for all equipment such as compressors, generators, a/c equipment, fork-lift trucks, lighting, etc. Carry out repairs and minor installation on process machines for B.U.’s as required to appropriate standards. Maintain all facility equipment to latest safety & pollution control standards such as ISO 14000. Interfaces with Government agencies such as P.C.B. factory inspectors etc. to ensure compliance reporting as required. Ensures that power is available to the facility 247 by either Government supply, independent contractor supply or by generator supply.
  • Handle housekeeping contractors and supervise their activities and performance in carrying out their duties in maintaining the facility, building, grounds to highest hygiene standards.
  • Ensure that housekeeping consumables are available to maintain hygiene standards.
  • To carry out routine inspection of toilets, canteen, locker rooms, utility room, gate house, etc. to maintain highest standards.
  • Responsible for the treatment and disposal of any effluent in line with current legislation and the maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant.
  • Responsible for the disposal of any scrap (and all) or waste material (excluding process, BU materials), expeditiously, safety & economically.
