Qualification / Experience:

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering) Regular only. 2 to 4 year in Manufacturing Engineering (Preferably Aerospace Domain). Additionally, Engineering Design experience is preferred. Experience in ERP, CAD tools (ProE, CATIA, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM Tools. Experience in Lean Tools such as 5S, RRCA, FMEA, VSM, Kaizen, etc Experience in process improvement through Lean. Technical Presentation/documentation, problem solving, interpersonal skills. Experience in communicating with global workforce.

Job Description:

Establish manufacturing processes to produce high-quality products at the most efficient methods in a lean way. Tech data creation and maintenance such as PFD, layout, WI, BOM, and routing. Develop new nonproduct suppliers for automation and smart factories. Design plant and cell layout with the thinking of reducing manufacturing wastes. Develop documentation and procedures in support of production processes and requirements. Investigate production technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions using Root cause analysis. Provide technical support for safety and ergonomics within the area. Should have the technical expertise to plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes for assembly and testing. Work closely with production tooling requirements and make available them for manufacturing and validation. Should be a good team player with keen on learning new things and should work on stretched goals. Hands-on experience in implementing Manufacturing techniques like Lean Manufacturing, Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM), and Total Quality Management (TQM) is preferred. Ensure compliance with environmental policies including hazardous waste management regulations. Continually improve quality and productivity for products and processes within the cell/area. Interaction with Customers/counterparts on technical issues, and projects on a weekly basis Day day-to-day interaction with inter-departments such as EHS, Finance, Design, stores, planning, etc. Ready to work in around-the-clock shift operations.
