Overview:
This is for an associate design engineer position in the Main Cabin seating. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for the 3D design of sheet metal parts, vacuum form, pressure form plastics, secondary machine elements in NX, 2D drawing development and preliminary electrical routing in a 3D environment.

Job responsibilities:
- Must have knowledge in sheet metal, plastics & Machined components design along with general engineering skills.
- Working experience in various modules of UG such as sheet metal, assembly, and electrical routing along TcE is required.
- Candidates from the Aerospace/Mechanical domain are preferred however, candidates from other industries such as Automotive are acceptable as long as they are proficient in the above-mentioned skills.
- Experience in working on aircraft seating and interiors is preferred.
- Knowledge in manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, machining, vacuum forming, injection molding, and composite.
- Modeling and drafting knowledge of sheet metal, plastics, machined and composite components, and assemblies in UG is required.
- Exposure to the UG electrical routing module is an added advantage.
- Strong in fundamentals of engineering.
- Experience in working with Teamcenter or other product data management (PDM) tools.
- Experience with GD&T application.
- Candidates with communication skills, an active team players with problem-solving skills are desirable.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech or B.E in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with 2 to 3yrs of experience.
