Position – Associate Engineer

Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

• basic principles of mechanical engineering
• Working understanding of Catia V5 CAD software is necessary, and familiarity with Unigraphics is an added benefit.
• experience in the process of product development and design
• working knowledge of, and aptitude for, technical drawings
• knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis, drawing and model verification (ASME), and
• It is advised to have fabrication and design experience using tools and fixtures.
• should be familiar with GD&T (ASME 14.5)
• Teamcenter, SAP, and PLM tool work experience
• proficiency with Word, Excel, and Presentation in Microsoft Office
• communicates with German and American business entities (effective written and verbal communication is required for the purpose of achieving successful job performance)
• working with the BLR Operations team and clients in the USA and Germany
• The ability to cooperate with a cross-functional team and be a team player
• Paying close attention to the small things will guarantee that consumers receive high-quality work.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 – 2 years of industry experience with knowledge of CAD activities, redesign, and new product development
• Mechanical engineering or mechanical design as a major or minor

Preferred Qualifications:

• an understanding of mechanical design
• Manufacturing drawing generation and evaluation require at least one year of expertise.
• understanding of machine design, materials, and production techniques
