CENTUM EMS –The Electronics Manufacturing Services business unit addresses high -technology high-complexity products in the defense, aerospace, industrial, medical, automotive and telecommunications segments. The offerings include Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), system integration, PCBA, test, environmental screening and repair & return services. This team also provides mechanical solutions to various requirements in the field of plastics and sheet metal for the industrial customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage procurement activities related to new or existing projects, other materials.
- Responsible for convert planned orders into purchase orders and ensure order acknowledgements from vendors are received
- Monitoring Inventory level based on the priorities and cost
- Prepare and monitor supplier data base
- Responsible for timely RMA management for rejected parts
- Responsible for timely vendor performance review and communication
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead – time for timely receipt of materials
- Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.
- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Acknowledge with vendors delivery dates and quantities
- Maintain and publish the material tracker
- Support to stores for booking and invoicing
- Follow ups for material quality issues and shortages
Who You Are?
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in any manufacturing industry Experience in Active & Passive Commodities Components
- Should have hands on experience in working on ERP systems.
