Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Should have design software knowledge (Drafting & 3D MODELING SOFTWARE).
  • Knowledge of design standards.
  • Should have the ability to understand the tolerance level of the assembly drawings.
  • Handle the vendors and guide them in manufacturing activity.
  • Knowledge in fabrication & machining operations.
  • Should be able to understand engineering drawing and Inspection Quality assurance plans.
  • Supervise and train the design executives for day-to-day design activities.
  • To handle development projects, end to end.
  • Should have a detailed understanding of engineering materials and metrology.
  • Innovative: Capable to think differently. And generate innovative ideas to meet the QCD parameters.
  • A systematic approach to dealing with the transition or transformation of a design or drawing of any assembly.
  • Ability to understand trends, real-time data analysis and to make relevant cost-effective business decisions
  • Effective recording of day-to-day drawing made vs plan.
  • Identification and usage of standard parts in the design to minimize the spares. Maintaining the bill of materials and inventory.
