Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Should have design software knowledge (Drafting & 3D MODELING SOFTWARE).
- Knowledge of design standards.
- Should have the ability to understand the tolerance level of the assembly drawings.
- Handle the vendors and guide them in manufacturing activity.
- Knowledge in fabrication & machining operations.
- Should be able to understand engineering drawing and Inspection Quality assurance plans.
- Supervise and train the design executives for day-to-day design activities.
- To handle development projects, end to end.
- Should have a detailed understanding of engineering materials and metrology.
- Innovative: Capable to think differently. And generate innovative ideas to meet the QCD parameters.
- A systematic approach to dealing with the transition or transformation of a design or drawing of any assembly.
- Ability to understand trends, real-time data analysis and to make relevant cost-effective business decisions
- Effective recording of day-to-day drawing made vs plan.
- Identification and usage of standard parts in the design to minimize the spares. Maintaining the bill of materials and inventory.
