Job description
Position: Assistant Manager (M1) – Mechanical.
Key Purpose:
To ensure the equipment availability for production ramp-up as per schedule timeline.
Role :
- Adhering to the safety, quality, cost, and reliability of equipment, and planned activities in advance to deliver in the desired timeline.
- Accessory equipment of main equipment is to be planned in advance to adhere timeline.
- Doing proper WHY WHY Analysis for all learnings and eliminating the root cause with CAPA.
- Planning and execution of project activities for ramp-up production.
- New vendor development for cost-effectiveness.
- Closing all abnormalities in the equipment may lead to a major breakdown.
- Adhering to the HIRA closure target 100%
- Training to all the associates and contract manpower on technical skills and safe working practices.
- Problem-solving techniques like QIP, QCs, and Kaizen to be implemented.
- Provide for necessary work permit clearance after checking the requirement of the job
- Attend and participate in daily Toolbox talking meetings.
- Shall have the capability to understand General Arrangement drawings, assembly drawings, and hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
- Knowledge of fasteners, bearing, conveyor, seals, belt drives, gear drives and chain drives
- Executing the project as per timelines which involves arranging service providers, installation and commissioning of process equipment as per process and EHS requirements.
- Preparing daily activity list and closely adhering timelines by identifying gap of plan vas actual and taking corrective action accordingly.
- Coordination with all stakeholder, and contractors for smooth execution of project.
- Ability to read, understand machine design and interpret machine technical specifications.
Preferred Experience :
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in Mechanical Maintenance

- B.E./B. Tech
Soft skills :
- Should have a good knowledge in MS Excel and Power point
- Good Communication, Analytical skill.
