Role Definition:
The Manufacturing Engineer will assist in analyzing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, compliance with safety and environmental requirements, and optimizing production costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement modifications to equipment and processes.
- Monitor equipment reliability, address problem areas, and implement solutions.
- Technical Support:
- Provide engineering support for equipment, processes, and facility planning.
- Offer guidance and development for operations staff and support areas.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain adherence to manufacturing standards, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Support ISO EN internal audits and ensure compliance with PDI and IMS ENMS standards.
- Problem Management:
- Employ systematic approaches to address and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate to ensure smooth resolution of customer issues.
- Specialized Tasks:
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Utilize knowledge in welding processes and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing and process optimization.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance practices.
- Knowledge of welding processes and ISO EN internal auditing.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
