Job Description:

Education Requirement:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities and Key Skills:

Mechanical Testing Expertise:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and mechanical testing.
  • Proficient in operating Universal Testing Machines (UTM) independently.
  • Ability to prepare test samples, set up test rigs, execute tests, and compile detailed reports.

Standards and Specifications:

  • Familiarity with mechanical test specifications such as Auto Industry Standard LV214 and similar benchmarks.
  • Experience in dust/water tightness testing, cross-sectioning, and microscopic analysis of metals/plastics is highly desirable.

Team Collaboration:

  • Strong networking abilities to interact with internal customers (India/affiliates) and external stakeholders to understand and fulfill testing requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multicultural and multifunctional engineering teams.

Soft Skills and Agility:

  • High learning agility with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to create and sustain best practices.

Primary Skills Required:

  1. 2–3 years of mechanical testing experience.
  2. Hands-on experience with Universal Testing Machines (UTM).
  3. Familiarity with dust/water tightness testing and microscopic analysis of materials.
  4. Knowledge of mechanical testing of connectors (added advantage).
  5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
