About the Role
This role involves the design, development, and simulation of mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance in real-world scenarios. You will work with advanced engineering tools and methodologies, focusing on mechanical design, materials science, sustainability, and digital simulation technologies.
As a Mechanical & Physical Engineer, you will also contribute to prototype development, testing, and validation, helping to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical System & Product Design
- Design mechanical systems, equipment, and machines.
- Develop CAD models & digital prototypes using software like AutoCAD, CATIA V5, and Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Implement generative design & additive manufacturing techniques.
- Ensure product manufacturability, testing, and validation.
Simulation & Performance Evaluation
- Perform static stress analysis and simulation testing.
- Apply rapid dynamics techniques for crash and vulnerability assessments.
- Utilize physics-based simulations to optimize product performance.
Material Science & Sustainability
- Work with metals, composites, surfaces, and nanomaterials.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, including electrification and green hydrogen technologies.
- Implement recycling processes for eco-friendly product development.
Project & Risk Management
- Manage project scope, planning, and execution.
- Engage in supplier and stakeholder management.
- Assess and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality control (QCT).
Client & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve engineering objectives.
- Interpret client requirements and translate them into engineering solutions.
- Share expertise and provide guidance to junior team members.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Technical Expertise – Proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA V5, Autodesk Fusion 360.
Analytical Thinking – Strong problem-solving and simulation analysis skills.
Project Management – Knowledge of project planning, supplier management, and QCT processes.
Material Science Knowledge – Understanding of metal, composite, surface, and nanomaterials.
