Job Opportunity: Diploma Engineer Trainee – PAS

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Management:
  • Adhere to and implement Calderys’ safety protocols at project sites.
  • Conduct safety toolbox meetings, site audits, and report near misses.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain refractory installation quality following SOPs and installation manuals.
  • Ensure all quality documents are properly maintained at the site.
• Project Execution:
  • Execute refractory installation jobs as per drawings and timelines.
  • Obtain project completion certificates from customers.
• Reporting & Coordination:
  • Prepare MIS reports, daily progress updates, tracking sheets, and material reconciliations.
  • Coordinate closely with superiors and project coordinators.
• Material & Resource Management:
  • Manage material inventory at store and site, ensuring accurate quantity verification.
  • Keep site machinery in good condition, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.
• Compliance & Billing:
  • Comply with statutory requirements at the site.
  • Submit contractors’ bills and secure customer certifications for monthly billing.

Profile Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Diploma in Ceramics/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year (preferably in the engineering or project execution industry).

Skills & Competencies:

• Perseverant and action/results-oriented.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Team player with strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
• Proficient in interpreting financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage with senior management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (advanced level).
