As a Design Engineer, you will work on the design, development, and engineering services for the Bradken product lines, which include GET, Undercarriage, Buckets & Dump Bodies.

You will have strong technical knowledge and will perform solid modelling, detailed drafting, hand calculations, tolerance studies, analysis/simulation, reverse engineering, rendered reports and other engineering activities for Bradken product offerings.

You will adhere to quality standards and investigate product failures to provide feedback for improvements. You will ensure all information about products/specifications is captured in the Product Lifecycle Management System and effectively disseminated to relevant stakeholders and customers.

You will have high attention to detail, you will also prepare technical reports, ensure information is captured in the product management system, and build relationships with internal customers and cross-functional teams. You will identify potential intellectual property and report it to the Engineering Team Lead while performing other duties as directed.

Key Technical Criteria:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experienced in translating design ideas/requirements into detailed engineering documents/specifications, by applying the fundamental concepts of mechanical engineering and drawing creation.
• Demonstrated experience in design, development, and/or engineering services of new and customized products.
• Knowledge of tools like Geomagic, Keyshot etc. (Preferred)
• Experience in Fabrication, castings, and handling engineering calculations.
• Knowledge of Backhoes, loader buckets and dump body trays would be an added advantage.
• Experience in managing and updating engineering drawings, CAD models, Bill of Materials, and technical information in product lifecycle management tools (Preferred Nx and Teamcenter)
• Knowledge of rendering tools like Geomagic, Keyshot etc. (Preferred)
• Flexible to work in Shifts

This role will be based in Coimbatore.

We have multiple requirements, Freshers are encouraged to apply based on the skill set they will be offered as Design or Assistant Design Engineer.
