Job Role:
- Lead Engineering Design Gates according building block and Product Level.
- Support/coach the Engineering community to understand the criteria for Design Gates to ensure a proper gate preparation.
- Provide trainings about Engineering Design Gates and Engineering Quality Toolbox (e.g. CIA, FMEA).
- Support the preventive quality activities in Engineering (e.g. CIA and FMEA) as well as the detection of quality issues and performance of root-cause analysis (e.g. 8D)
- Knowledge about requirements management and configuration management
- Ability to apply quality methods like FMEA (Systems, Design, Process) and Problem Solving Workshops (PPS, 8D)
- Ability to assess processes maturity
- Knowledge on Standards (IRIS, ISO 9001, CENELEC, …)
- Engineering value chain experience
Qualifications
- B.E/ B.Tech with Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 5 to 9 years of experience in Quality
- Knowledge of BT Engineering process landscape, core PM processes, and Gates reviews
- Knowledge about requirements management and configuration management
