The Associate Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Mech-Hyd) position is a unique opportunity for an engineer to join the team at Boeing India Engineering. This role will focus on supporting the company’s Commercial Airplanes, Defense, Space and Security, and Global Services business organizations. The successful candidate will work with the Engineering Manager, Project Lead, and Aerospace Mechanical Design and Systems Expert to develop or optimize designs, analyze supplier quality issues, and support the development of cutting-edge technologies and digital initiatives.
Responsibilities of this position include supporting the mechanical design and analysis of aircraft and aerospace components such as landing gear systems, valves, actuators, and high lift systems. The Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with team members across the organization, providing updates on project progress, and participating in initiatives related to engineering excellence, employee development, and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent disciplines, with 1-6 years of relevant work experience. They should have expertise in simulation software such as DOORS, MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape, as well as experience in system safety analysis and requirement validation. The candidate should also have experience in hydraulic system design and analysis, structural design, and mechanical design, and be able to work independently or lead small teams. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are also essential for this role.
