Position – Senior Design Engineer – HVAC

Job description

  • To carry out engineering work for HVAC projects in line with customer requirements including design verification, equipment selection, and drawing preparation.
  • Must be thorough with the design verification which includes heat load estimation, pressure drop calculation for airside and waterside, also preparation of waterside scheme as well as the electrical scheme
  • Have a good knowledge of various equipment used in the projects and selection of the equipment like chiller, pumps, AHU, cooling tower, heat recovery units, fans, ductless ventilation system, etc
  • Guiding CAD Dman to prepare the final designs, discuss the same with consultants/architects and get final approvals
  • Interact with customers/consultant for understanding technical requirements and implement the same
  • Apply value engineering to reduce the cost of the project
