Mechanization Specialist

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To work with Venture teams to execute mechanization plans, including data-driven solutions during cropping season.
• To utilize agronomic knowledge to ensure that mechanization practices address the needs of farmers and align with the goals of venture teams.
• To interact with farmers, field officers and the operation team to improve the venture mechanization journey.
• To work with venture teams to optimize farm equipment performance, resource utilization, and crop yield outcomes.
• To facilitate and provide hands-on training and support to farmers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the Agriculture industry, with a focus on farm equipment.
• Understanding of agronomy practices and their application to mechanized farming.
• Experience in data science, including data analysis and modeling, preferably in an agricultural context.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
