  • Knowledge of applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics/ Fluid flow, heat transfer, and engineering materials used in the healthcare domain- metal and plastics.
  • Responsible for the development and documentation of mechanical system components.
  • Knowledge on the transition of products to manufacturing and Knowledge on applicable manufacturing processes like castings, machining, sheet metal, plastics, etc.
  • Good Knowledge of GD&T and Drawing standards and Specifications.
  • Knowledge on mechanical and electromechanical designs that are optimized for production, reliability, regulatory compliance and cost.
  • Good knowledge on Low Flow Pumps and Solenoid mechanism.
  • Knowledge on Automation and Basic knowledge on lab view will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on successful integration of mechanical design entities with electrical and consumable components.
  • Defines protocols and conduct the necessary testing required to validate the safety and effectiveness of the design(s). Develop test plans, test protocols, and test reports for product integration testing.
  • Knowledge on troubleshooting and problem solving efforts related to mechanical aspects of the design and interfaces with other design constituents.
  • Good Hands on in Design calculations
  • Performs in-depth mechanical engineering analysis and calculations.
  • Knowledge on Computational Fluid Dynamics.
  • Basic knowledge on Finite Element Analysis.
  • Piping / Tubing knowledge with knowledge on Biocompatibility will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to think and demonstrate Miniaturization, Knowledge on Design and Manufacturing.
  • Awareness on Design for Manufacturing, Service, Costing.
  • Good effective and collaborative working relationship with external development partners. Willing to work with Cross functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, etc.) to deliver the product to mark.
