Role Summary
Baker Hughes has a new opportunity for Centrifugal Compressors Design Engineer to join the team in Bangalore, India.
Essential Responsibilities
- Work on cutting edge Stage Technology development with guidance from CTHs and work towards entitlement of CC Stage performances. Prepare documentation and present to stakeholders resolving technical challenges along the way.
- Develop RQS CC design with In-house CALC tools with good understanding of Thermodynamics, Rotor-dynamics and API requirements.
- Review the Design with Control Titles and accommodate design changes and customer interactions.
- Prepare documentation for the design and interact with stakeholders resolving technical queries.
Qualifications/Requirements
- M.Tech/M.E (Mechanical Engineering/Turbo Machinery) 2+ years of design experience in turbomachinery products and systems.
- Experience in oil and gas domain
- Hands-on experience on CFD using CFX/Fluent software’s
- Exposure to Stage Technology Centrifugal Compressor domain
- Innovative – seeking alternate solution challenging status quo.
- Understanding customer Specification/s and how it impacts the design.
- Good knowledge of turbo-machinery thermodynamics.
Desired Characteristics
- Finite element Analysis exposure.
- Knowledge of BH processes and systems
- Six Sigma certification, DMAIC methods exposure.
- Good communication abilities and presentation skills.
