Major Areas of Responsibilities | ||||||
Work closely with consumer research (external as well as internal) & Product teams to develop concepts to solve problems at hand. Function proof of new concepts at component and system level using calculations, DFMEA, FEA, Function analysis, Prototyping, and testing. Develop propositions to meet consumer requirements considering market research, use cases, and costing. Collaborate with industry, institutes, and open innovation platforms to bring a variety of viewpoints and solutions on board develop rapid prototypes at component and system levels, and evaluate and establish the design intent Effectively communicate your designs in CAD, Keynote, and in front of a group Propose design solutions with the advantages and challenges and mitigation plan for challengesCollaborate with marketing function to arrive at value proposition basis the concepts designedSimulate and optimize designs Problem solving and cost reduction in existing products. Undertake technology roadmap exercises to arrive at the future of technologies in the business landscape | ||||||
Requirement | ||||||
We are looking for a highly skilled product design engineer with knowledge of interdisciplinary engineering fundamentals, who can define and design system level approaches to solve fundamental consumer problems. The candidate has to have highest level of ingenuity and creativity who can work on multiple parallel approaches while solving problems and arrive at the simplest, manufacturable and cost effective solution. | ||||||
Essential Qualification: BE/M Tech/MS Mechanical | ||||||
Desired Qualification: BE / M Tech/ MS Mechatronics | ||||||
