Position – Design Engineer – Mechanical

Duties and Responsibilities:

To execute work efficiently to produce specific deliverables with quality and in a time-bound manner.
Must have exposure in Auto cad 2D & 3D also knowledge of solid work 2D&3D.
A successful design engineer is a trustworthy professional with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent design, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data.

Designing and costing of process plant and skids.
Coordination, planning, scoping, estimation and tracking.
Relationship management with clients, consultant, OEM .
Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely, meeting customer delivery expectations.
Work extended hours as per job requirements.

Skills Required:

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the engineering item inventory management.
Strong leadership, supervisory skills, organizational, problem solving, and management skills.
with good knowledge of mechanical items like PHE, valves, boilers, pumps etc.
knowledge of mechanical piping design and calculation of pressure and flow of the pipe and pumps
should be capable of read all type of drawing with respect to symbols and formula.
Should be able to make layout drawings , Isometric drawing ,piping related drawing and P&I.
able to derive BOQ(bill of quantity) from the drawing or ability to make BOQ from the isometric or equipment layout drawing
Ability to meet challenging deadlines in an efficient and profitable manner.
Basic computer knowledge – MS Outlook email and MS Excel.
Solid knowledge of data analysis and forecasting techniques.
An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Should have experience mechanical design Field. Should have proven abilities to work as team player. Should have knowledge of interfaces with other engineering disciplines in carrying out project work for providing /receiving/ reviewing the deliverables at various stages of project.
