You’ll be our: NVH Simulation Engineer
You’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru
You’ll be Aligned with: Team Lead – NVH Simulations – Simulation CoC
You’ll be the member of: NVH Simulation Team in Simulation CoC
What you’ll do at Ather:
- Develop NVH simulation models at component, subsystem and vehicle levels and perform modal, harmonic response and random vibration analyses.
- Correlate virtual models with test data.
- Perform Vibro-acoustic and Aero-acoustic simulations for noise source characterization of Motor, Cooling Fans and transmission subsystems.
- Simulations to assist the design of effective vibration isolators, tuned mass dampers etc.
- Develop virtual DVP’s and Target criteria for various NVH simulations including Dynamic Stiffness, Modal alignment etc.
- Perform Topology, Topography, Size and Shape Optimization and DOE’s to improve NVH aspects of the designs.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Strong Vibration and Acoustics Fundamentals.
- Exposure to commercial simulation tools like Altair Hyperworks, NVH Director, MSC Actran, ESI VA One, LMS Virtual Lab (Siemens SimLab) etc.
- Should have good Product Development experience on NVH aspects from an Automotive or Aerospace industry.
- Exposure in NVH testing (experimental modal testing, ODS etc.) is desirable.
- Should have worked on Test-FEA correlations for NVH.
- Knowledge of Rotor dynamics and Condition Monitoring principles for Bearings, Gears, Dampers etc. would be an added advantage.
- DFSS knowledge will be an added advantage.
You bring to Ather:
- Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in NVH simulations. Exposure in
- B.Tech/M.Tech/MS in Mechanical or Automotive or Aerospace Engineering.
