Job description

You’ll be our: Mechanical Durability Testing EngineerYou’ll be based at Ather Proto Lab – PVL, NS Palya, Bengaluru
You’ll be aligned with: Lead – Mechanical Durability You’ll be joining our: Product Validation Lab Team

What you’ll do at Ather –

• Understanding and performing all mechanical durability component & vehicle level tests.
• Handling measuring instruments like vernier calipers, dial gauges, and inclinometers.
• Operational skill in manufacturing/machining operations like cutting, welding, drilling & tapping.
• Responsible for setting up test benches with pneumatic & hydraulic actuators for durability testing.
• Responsible for proper usage of equipment/Instruments and machinery.
• 5S and Lab safety maintenance.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Understanding on updating & maintaining lab documents, services & calibration activities.
• Knowledge in CAD tools Solidworks and NX.

Here’s what we’re looking for –

• Understanding of electric vehicles and performance.
• Experience working in a mechanical durability or technical support group.
• Expertise in fixturing/test development.
• Good technical communication skills and punctuality.

What you bring to Ather –

• Bachelors in mechanical engineering with 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Mechanical engineer with basic electrical knowledge.
