Individual is responsible for checking the quality of Incoming and outgoing parts in accordance with the specified standards of the organization. This job involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analysing products, and overseeing procedures.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Carry out inward goods inspection of parts as per requirements.
- Responsible for updating the QC incoming log and non-conformance log.
- Perform inspections using precision instruments to ensure the product meets specifications.
- Conduct stage inspections from component to assembly and system-level builds during product development and production activities.
- Responsible and in charge of labeling or tagging all components with a component Identification tag if components pass inspections.
- Practiced in reading and understanding assembly drawings with due regard to dimensional tolerances
- Identify and document issues and assist with troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions to resolve identified defects.
- Assist in the preparation of test cases, test procedures and test reports.
- To possess knowledge of mechanical systems, an understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T Symbols.
- Proficiency with standard testing tools, calipers, micrometers, depth gauge and mechanical parts inspection methodologies.
- Prepare, process, and close out production documentation and maintain records.
- Monitor and maintain the calibration of measuring instruments.
- Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned or required to improve and maintain the Quality Management System.
Qualifications: Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Aeronautical / Aerospace, Mechanical or related field/B.E with relevant experience.
Relevant Experience: 1 – 2 years of experience.
Desired Skills & Characteristics:
- Knowledge of electronic parts inspection.
- Details-focused and team player.
- Familiar with sampling standards. Carrying out FAI for parts.
- Working knowledge of inspection and testing tools (Measurement gauges, multi-meters, oscilloscope).
- Knowledge on ISO, AS9100, and AS9102 standards.
- Ability to work with a flexible schedule during peak periods.
- Good English writing, reading, and communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage by planning and organizing work to drive for results.
