Associate Engineer I – Production Planning and Control
Job Description:
Asteria is Looking forward to hire GET/Trainee in our Production Planning and Control Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of production operations. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating production activities, optimizing resource allocation, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing processes.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Work closely with production team to organize the production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
- Determine the necessary resources (raw materials, documents & equipment’s required to meet production demand.
- Assign and Monitor Production Operations – Issuing & loading work orders, follow-up and monitor progress to ensure on time completion of operations.
- Data Management and Reporting – Collect and maintain accurate data for daily reporting.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless production processes.
- Responsible for taking matured self-decision during any crucial activities and provide clarification for the same.
- Adhere to Company Rules & Regulations.
Qualifications: Engineering in electronics/mechanical/aeronautical/aerospace or equivalent.
Relevant Experience: 0 – 1 years
Desired Skills & Characteristics:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
- Strong mathematical and statistical abilities.
- Experience as a production planner or in a related role.
- Familiarity with production planning principles and quality control.
- Should have good verbal communication skills.
- Should have fluency in Kannada, Hindi & English Languages.
- The individual must have attention to detail, logical thinking, and ability to execute the activities as per asteria standards.
- The individual should be good at following instructions and work collaboratively with CFT team.
- The individual shall be flexible during working hours based on the work assignments.
- The individual shall be patient, empathetic and passionately communicative.
