Position Summary

This position will be responsible for new product development, and will design and develop products with innovative ideas and theme base designs. Closely work with manufacturing teams to design and develop new products in line with customer requirements and market trends. Closely work with internal and external key stakeholders, manufacturing, and customers on technical support for their activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • This Position is responsible for Product design and development using Solid works and AutoCAD software, initiating innovative ideas, conceptualizing theme base designs align with market trends
  • Convert design concepts into functional prototypes,
  • Perform research on contemporary product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts
  • Coordinate with customer representatives to ideate and convert into physical functional shapes in the design phase
  • Revisit, Modify and revise existing designs to meet heightened customer expectations
Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Familiar with the 3D Modeling software of Solid Works / Auto CAD
  • Sound Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensions and Tolerances
  • Analytical skill Post Design and development.
  • Knowledge of Material like of CRCA, ZINC, BRASS, SS and Aluminum etc.
  • Manufacturing Process Knowledge on HPDC,GDC, G&B, Electro Plating and Machining
  • Ability to effectively communicate with CFT
  • Good relationship building, verbal and written communication skills
  • An excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal
  • Good understanding of colour science and combinations
  • Artistic and innovative skill and attention to detail

Education Qualification & Experience required:

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 to 5 Years of relevant work experience as a product designer in an Automotive/Architectural hardware industry
