Role Summary

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Operations Excellence, you will support initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within our manufacturing facility. This involves analyzing current operations, identifying improvement areas, and working with teams to implement best practices aimed at boosting productivity, quality, and process efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process Analysis:
  • Assist in analyzing existing processes to uncover inefficiencies and potential improvement areas.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
  • Support the design and execution of initiatives for continuous process improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with various departments to create and implement process optimization solutions.
• Time and Motion Studies:
  • Conduct studies to optimize workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
• Lean Manufacturing Integration:
  • Aid in implementing lean manufacturing principles and practices in operational processes.
• Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and report on the success and impact of implemented improvement projects.
• Technical Support & Training:
  • Provide production staff with training and technical support on new processes and best practices.
• Safety & Quality Compliance:
  • Ensure all improvement activities align with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field)
• Experience:
  • 0 to 2 years (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
  • Proficient in data analysis and process improvement methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
