Job Title: Executive – Plant Technology
Location: Chennai Office
Reports to (Position):
Department/Function: Plant Technology
Purpose of the Job: Responsible for taking the lead in building to establishing the existing product to improve features and performance. Taking trial in building to establish new Product Monitoring, the performance of Pilot run SKUs, and release QR4. Provide knowledge-based support for troubleshooting and improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
- End to end follow up of prototype tyres, component availability.
- Monitoring performance and initiation of corrective actions for pilot SKUs
- Support to Tyre Engineers in the completion of the new product process proving
- Completion of VAVE projects
- Initiate yield improvement projects
- Process proving of the new Product.
- Disposition of components after trial.
- Conduct improvement studies and trials.
- Shop floor coordination and preparation of reports of product/process/ material trials.
- Provide knowledge-based support to BU for troubleshooting, efficiency improvement, scrap/waste reduction, etc.
Knowledge (Technical / Functional):
- Knowledge of Tyre-building Process
- Knowledge of the Machine capabilities and its functions.
- Troubleshooting of process difficulties.
