Position – Senior Executive – Process Automation (Projects)

Job description
Integrated System Management:
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of integrated automation systems within the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure seamless integration of automation systems with existing processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of integrated systems.
Designing User Requirement Specifications (URS):
- Develop comprehensive and detailed URS for the manufacturing plant’s automation systems, considering current and future automation needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope with respect to, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure qualification documentation is thorough, clear, and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Data Management:
- Ensure effective data management of equipment, including data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Implement data-driven approaches to monitor and optimize equipment performance and process efficiency.
- Develop and maintain digital dashboards and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and equipment metrics.
Installation and Qualification:
- Work closely with the site team to plan and oversee the installation, commissioning, and qualification of automation equipment.
- Ensure all installation and qualification activities are conducted according to project timelines, budget, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute installation and qualification protocols, including IQ, OQ, and PQ as and when required.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity in Green Field Project.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technologies and industry best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and suggestions from team members and stakeholders.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all automation systems comply with regulatory requirements, such as USFDA, EU GMP, and ISO standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including validation protocols, user manuals, and SOPs.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of automation systems.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related field).
Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in process automation within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation systems for manufacturing processes.
- Experience with integrated systems, data management, and equipment qualification.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and MES.
- Hands-on experience with designing user requirement specifications (URS) for automation projects.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and innovation.
- Proactive and innovative approach with a passion for driving automation and operational excellence.
