Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 5-8 yrs
- Educational: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing)
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement cost-effective complex equipment (fixtures, outriggers, jigs, test equipment) for all phases of manufacturing.
- Study and recommend corrective solutions for enhancing manufacturing efficiency.
- Suggest equipment, process changes leading to cost reduction or operation enhancement.
- Create and release engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
- Interact with manufacturing engineers on a regular basis.
- Provide immediate response and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the build process.
- Conduct Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams.
- Experience in the Design and development of fixtures used for lifting/assembly/handling/testing purpose.
- Proficient in 3D Modeling, Assembly and Detailing using UG NX & any one of PLM/PDM.
- Deep understanding of OEM component selection like leadscrews, LM guideways, motors etc.
- Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) & presentation skill.
- Experience in manufacturing industry.
- Problem solving skill.
- Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its assembly process.
- Proven customer interface skills, with ability to influence both internal and external customers in technical matters.
- Exposure to Value Engineering & Should costing would be an advantage.
