Position – Engineer Procurement

Location – Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Exp. – 5 to 7 years

Job description

• Responsible for procurement activities related to the site and ensuring QCD performance of suppliers
• Responsible for PO placing and on-time delivery of parts to production.
• Coordinating suppliers for providing components at the right time to the site for all the projects.
• Freezing Frozen period with Suppliers
• Ensure right Inco terms/MOQ as per the requirement of the project
• Implementation of CONQ (Cost of poor quality)
• Responsible for Inventory cost within Budget
• Supplier QCD performance monitoring.
• Optimum Inventory of the parts handled
• Supplier OTIF Management
• Procurement Centre Dashboard Monitoring
• APSYS Mandatory level to be achieved as part procurement.
• Ensure compliance on Supply chain requirements
• Missing part management to reduce line stoppage.

Qualifications & Skills

• BE/ BTech in Mechanical or Electrical
• IT Skills: SAP / MS Excel
• Ability to summarize and focus on the critical issues
• Good Communication skills
• Multi-cultural Management Teamwork and Customer-oriented
• Data-driven and courageous
• 5 to 7 years of Experience in purchasing the domain
• Knowledge of Supplier handling and procurement process
• Ability to deal quickly and effectively with a variety of topics
