Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Finite Element (FE) models for complex assemblies independently and perform calculations to meet project requirements.
- Plan and lead calculation discipline activities and deliverables, ensuring adherence to applicable instructions, processes, and customer requirements.
- Utilize Altair Hypermesh, Hyperview, and Optistruct tools for structural mechanics calculations.
- Suggest design improvements by reinforcing or simplifying calculated parts.
- Document and present calculation discipline reviews according to the project schedule.
- Monitor progress of calculation activities, reporting issues that could impact quality, cost, or delivery (QCD) commitments.
- Produce FEA validation plans and ensure their execution.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Structural mechanics expertise with 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in railway product applications.
- Proficiency in Altair Hypermesh, Hyperview, and Optistruct is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Time management and reporting skills.
- A structured and organized approach to problem-solving with a hands-on attitude.
- Fluency in English for technical discussions and documentation.
