The position / About the Job :
In this job the Field Service Engineer would be responsible for;
o Responsible for executing maintenance and minor repairs on standard products at the customer site
o Investigate and resolve technical problems on standard products at the customer site
o Preparation of the service job to execute/resolve at the shortest possible time
o Follow up on actions and promises made to customers
o Write service report on site and get it signed by the customer
o Update service execution IT system with relevant information
o Report unsafe practices, incidents and work for continuous improvement
o Capture Installed Base on-site and communicate sales opportunities to the sales organization
o Proactive recommendation to customers for purchase of spares
o Execute service in our Service Centres if required
Who you are?
As a Field Service Engineer, you will execute increased scope from a 360º service portfolio (Startup, maintenance, support) for basic as well as a complex product at customer sites. Also, share market intelligence and customer insight. You will Communicate reports and actions to be taken to resolve customers’ issues. You would be required to troubleshoot customers’ problems related to supplied products at the site.
Your strong business acumen and strategic approach will guide the organization to reach the next level and deliver excellent customer experience and timely delivery. You are a value-driven person with a high level of integrity. Your strong and courageous mindset is key.
What you can be?
- You have up to 6 years of experience in service and have a strong experience in troubleshooting.
- MUST HAVE good knowledge of rotating machinery service experience like pumps/engine/compressors etc
- B Tech/ BE /Diploma in in mechanical or equivalent experience
- We believe you have an experience of working with Global Organizations.
