Position – Baggage Handling System Specialist

Job description
- Develop BHS concepts in coordination with the civil, architecture, structure, IT and MEP systems and adhering to local and international regulatory/statutory requirements during design development.
- Preparation of various stages of design e.g. concept, schematic and detailed layout of the airport systems e.g. BHS and PBB
- Experience in designing active system, ability to design from concept to 100 % design of the system, testing and commissioning of the systems.
- Experience in Preparation of RFP, bid documents, Scope of Work documents, technical specifications, BOQ, cost estimate, tender process and support, tender review etc.
- Review of contractor submissions of TDS, shop drawings, GFC etc.
- Coordination with client, contractor, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), system integrator (SI) etc. to achieve requirements of the project in every stage
- Should be able to address and clear all the technical and design queries raised by client.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Airport Systems such as PBB/BHS/VDGS etc.
- PG or Graduate in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering
- Preferred Qualifications – Airport experience
