Job Description:
As an Associate in Mechanical Design, you will:
- Act as a Senior Technical Resource and may serve as a technical advisor for your team.
- Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs within your expertise.
- Develop study and design procedures to ensure cost-effective and high-quality work by team members.
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
- Develop construction cost estimates and estimates for technical efforts on various projects.
- Lead the completion of discipline components of PS&E packages (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates).
- Perform quality control reviews of design calculations or drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare technical specification sections for engineering projects.
- Provide input on the engineering budget and project schedule to meet client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a senior technical resource, with a track record of providing specialized input on design projects.
- Expertise in mechanical design, particularly in disciplines relevant to infrastructure projects.
- Ability to conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Strong capability in cost estimation and project scheduling.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration skills to contribute to complex project reviews.
