Job Description:
To execute plan, maintain, develop and monitor with all aspects of the Mechanical Maintenance of Cement mill including roller press to ensure that these continues to operate at optimum levels with a minimum of downtime.
To Execute Operation & provide Maintenance of Cement Mill to ensure smooth operation, continuous production and to meet availability of the spares.
- Work order permit of contractors and safety equipment (PPEs) and checking if the workers have the right skills to be able to do the job
- Walk by inspection as per checklist for equipment maintenance – reporting anomalies
- Preventive maintenance – in-running attainable points like greasing, lubrication
- Planning for next day work order, agency planning, material planning
- Planning material requisition in SAP and service requisition in SAP for advance availability (e.g. Spares, pumps as per area assigned)
- Resolving issues of breakdown in the machines and taking corrective actions
- RCA (Why-why) analysis to avoid recurring breakdowns by having daily meetings
- Recording of equipment status, running parameters
- Opportunity maintenance monthly/daily – as per checklist of anomalies and report prepared schedule of maintenance to be done.
- Assist in Shutdown planning : Manpower planning, tools and spares
To check the equipment for Preventive maintenance to reduce the sudden breakdowns
- Walk by inspection as per checklist for equipment maintenance – reporting anomalies
- Preventive maintenance – in-running attainable points like greasing, lubrication
- Recording of equipment status and running parameters
- MTTR – Non critical equipment’s By proper planning of spares and
- manpower availability
- OT reduction by proper manpower management & resource utilisation
Execution of Shut Down and unplanned jobs to ensure smooth operation of plant and to handle new projects and initiative to reduce cost and time
- Preparing list for the shutdown jobs including indenting of the materials required for mentioned areas
- Follow-up of the materials from Vendors, Purchase, Stores and Mechanical departments
- Ensuring the receipts and issuing of materials with correct specification
- Contractor follow-up with legal and safety aspects and to make sure the allotted jobs completed in a prescribed manner and within a time-limit
- Scheduling the activities required for the commissioning
- Plan for the future maintenance of equipment ensuring availability of the space for same maintenance
- Trail of the commissioned equipment to ensure desired outputs
To Draft Planning for conditioning monitoring of the production processes to reduce equipment failures
- Monitors vital parameters by regular monitoring and taking possible corrective & preventive action
- To reduce breakdowns by proper planning and utilisation of available resources
Check Inventory management and prepares the PR for execution of the Jobs
- Preparation of templates for material codes for equipment on a regular basis by studying the manuals of equipment.
- Maintain required spares, in case of regular maintenance which should be available, plant breakdown. Making PR for the same and issue job order
Preparing service PR for the wok required to be done and follow-up for approval and with purchase department.
B) Goals & KRA to be assigned
- To control fugitive dust emission and to improve housekeeping of cement mill section
- Safety standard improvement in department.
- improvement in availability and MTBF of cement mill.
- Effective use of preventive maintenance tools for quality maintenance and compliance to SAP module.
Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech (Dist Education),Masters of Mechanical Engg.
Minimum Experience Level: 3-9 Years
