Position – Quality Engineer

Job description

To ensure that quality objectives are met measuring the efficiency of the quality in serial production and executing the necessary actions.
To assure that products and processes are developed according the quality, safety and regulation requirements from the plant and from the different customers
To analyze customer and warrant complaints, and ensure the follow up of the corrective actions described in the 8Ds; manage the cause analysis meetings, and report the customer about the actions implemented within the prescribed period.
Follow up of key performance indicators relative to customer: ppm, concerns, sorting and reworks.
To participate in the launching of new projects, giving support to the APQP process
To create the necessary documents for the PPAP of new parts.
It has authority to stop the line in case of major discrepancy in the parts quality
Identification and taking action in case of any safety characteristics issues
