ABB’s Robotics and Discrete Automation (RA) business is writing the future of flexible factory and smart machines by providing value-added solutions in robotics, machine and factory automation. This is a Research and Development (R&D) Engineer role, reporting to the Line Manager in Business Area – RA and located in Bangalore. You will be contributing with own ideas for identifying, proposing and implementing innovative technology development and solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Designing, developing, integrating and supporting product from Graphical User Interface (GUI) side.
- Developing new features and understanding current architecture of system.
- Gathering business requirements and converting to Product-line Requirements Specification (PRS).
- Implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) approach for Angular using Karma, Jasmin.
- Developing backend services, creating Proof of Concept (POC) and designing documents.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
- B.E / B. Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Production, or Instrumentation.
- Should have 6 – 8 year of experience.
- Strong knowledge on C#, Asp.Net Web API, .Net Core and SQL server.
- Good understanding of IIS Webserver and related technologies.
- Having knowledge in HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular 8.’
