You will be reporting to Quality Control Manager and will be responsible deploying and supporting a quality culture within local ABB, by assuring and controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. You will be supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System of the local unit.

Ensuring process optimization by Value-Stream Mapping (VSM) and other lean tools.
Responsible for operational excellence of product lines like ACB, MCCB, Contactors & TOLR.
Reducing on Non Quality Cost , Cost of poor quality (COPQ) and customer complaint Parts Per Million (PPM).
Responsible First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement of product lines.
Providing training on QC tools and lean concepts.
Processing Non-Conformance Report (NCR) analysis and monitoring with team.
Preparing monthly meeting reports with OPEX data and communicating to the team about the outcomes.
Conducting internal process audits and following up to close the actions.
Communicating with Global /Hub team for the project’s updates and technical supports.

B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience.
Proficient in tools like MSA, FMEA, 5S, DOE, 8D, 5Why, Kaizen, ISHIKAVA, Poka-Yoke, PPAP, TPM & ISO 9001:2015.
Should be conversant with SAP QM module and statistical process control & tools.
Good inter personnel and communication skills.
Leadership quality for handling opex projects and change management.
Preferable on know-how of low voltage products like ACB, MCCB, Contactor & TOLR and ability to solve complex issues.
Preference for candidate with Lean six sigma Black Belt certification.
