You will be working as Maintenance In-charge and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based out at Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Manufacturing Unit Manager. You will be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department. This includes managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources and assisting in the design and installation of new systems. In addition, this position is responsible for managing multiple shifts of Maintenance Supervisors and mechanics.

Your responsibilities

  • Leading the processes in maintaining and preserving efficiency of all equipment, production lines and/or facilities. Communicating with MES / PLC / Conveyors / PTL vendors effectively. Troubleshooting knowledge related to SMART factory – Industry 4.0
  • Monitoring associate performance for a regular group or work unit. Including providing input on hiring; disciplinary actions; work objectives and their effectiveness and realigning the department as needed. Also responsible for the development of both the Leadership and Technical group
  • Collaborating with production on a day to day basis and ensure the uptime always positive. Collaborating with the engineering team to define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities and consults on ways to improve reliability, maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facilities
  • Managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines and/or facilities. Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost
  • Solving major technical, equipment or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines. Maintaining tools and repair equipment in good working order
  • Responding to emergencies, break-downs, malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption to production process
  • Performing maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules

Your background

  • Diploma or bachelor’s engineering any specialization
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in maintenance of Mechanical & Electricals & having an good understanding PLC Programming
  • Experience in Automatic / PLC PLC-operated manufacturing Assembly Line or automatic conveyor maintenance, jigs & fixture and general plant maintenance from a manufacturing environment, preferably from an electronics manufacturing industry
  • Experience in Electropneumatic & Mechatronics Automated Assembly Line
  • Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, products and processes , Understanding PLC Automation & Programming will be added advantage
