Your Role: Design Engineer – Distribution Solution Division
Location: Nashik, India
Reporting to: Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
- Designing engineering solutions, creating and modifying standard designs for low to medium-complexity assignments.
- Development of medium switchgear, preparation of mechanical design concepts, and full CAD 3D models.
- Creating or reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and plans for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction.
- Contributing to design reviews, verification, and modifying designs as necessary.
- Assisting in preparing specific aspects of design assignments, adhering to standards, safety, and quality.
Your Background:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the Design and Development of Medium Voltage Indoor switchgear.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Pro-E, SolidWorks, etc.) and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of materials, material standards (IS, EN, ISO, DIN), and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with type testing, IEC standards, and experience handling type testing in laboratories.
