You will be working as Associate Commissioning Engineer, reporting to Commissioning Lead/Manager and will be part of Robot Automotive division in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area, based in Bengaluru and Pune, India. You will be responsible for on-site robot debugging (including robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging and problem handling).
Your responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring project during whole execution period until get FAC
- Achieving paint process parameters on surface like DFT, gloss, color values etc
- Handling robot application programming, industrial robot/spraying robot debugging (gluing, flaming, blowing, wipe, film thickness detection)
- Managing robot disassembly and maintenance activities
- Applying vision system measurement and maintenance, and be able to complete a new mod-el introduction robot simulation independently
- Handling Sealant equipment like ABB IDFP, Graco PCF, SCA Dozer etc
- Handling mechanical principles, electrical components, and circuit diagrams
Your background
- B.E./Diploma in Paint Technology/Chemical engineering/Mechanical with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of working experience in a similar field
- Exposure to working with Automotive customers is an added advantage
- Experience in a similar role in the automation industry is desirable
- Experience with Automation and paint shops and Exposure to AUTOCAD, CATIA, Solid works
- Basic knowledge of Robot software like Robot Studio, Rob view, Shop floor editor, SCADA development, 3D onsite, MOTOSIM
- Proficiency in Key MS Office programs is required (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint)
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills, box conceptualizing ability, and willingness to travel
